We play such a small part in this political process and we are often discouraged by the results that we can see. But, we can trust that God will certainly work everything out for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. We can trust the One who makes all decisions based upon what is ultimately right and just. This is the case for our political system - God will make things right. So, what if the candidates are ungodly, non-christian humans? What if we are trusting the Lord and not responding in fear but there is not a clear choice that reflects a good biblical candidate?
Our hearts and minds are word factories!
So much of our lives are spent hearing! So much of our lives are lived with words flowing in and out of our mouths and ears. Our hearts and minds really are word factories!
Beware of Your Audience
So much of our angst and anxiety occurs because we feel like we have to do things so that people will see how well we are doing.
The Gospel is For Christians!
It IS true that the Gospel is ‘good news’ for unbelievers, but it is MORE true that the Gospel message of Jesus’ death and resurrection is even gooder news for Christians!
Making Disciples at our Kitchen Table

We MUST become Smugglers of the Word!
How do we go about doing this? We let God speak for Himself! We throw the Word on the ground and let IT bear fruit! As I think about the struggle of those Dark Age Christians and how they lived and died to get the Word to places where people could hear it, I asked myself this question and I want you to think about it with me as we move on into the Spring and Summer:
“How can I smuggle the Word into my conversations with our community?”
I have cried for a long time preparing for your wedding…
“Having twins is the best!” Your twin reminded us of this at your rehearsal dinner and it is so true. Ever since you and Emily were born I have been amazed at the energy that you two have when you’re together. When you were good, you were really, really good. When you were bad, it... Investing in the Church – Acts 20:28
This week we will be in Acts 20:28. Paul challenges the Ephesian elders to see the importance of investing their lives in their church. I wish I had the passion that he had for the church. Let's look to the Lord together and invest our lives in His congregation! https://youtu.be/JmoNclDqv8c
A Gracious Message – Acts 20:13-27
Last week I preached an Encouraging Message from Acts 20:1-12. This week's message will be gracious! In the passage we have before us we have an example of Paul's focus and the foundation for his ministry. I hope that you'll be challenged to look at God's grace and His Gospel in a fresh way. https://youtu.be/0n8lxedmB1g
